Marstons Pedigree

Hi All,

Does anyone know of a kit that tastes like my fav brew Pedigree? Or a decent beer that is similar to Pedigree/Bass/Boddingtons or the like?

Don't mind a recipe using an extarct as a base.

Cheers

Jim

Without being funny Jim, all four beers you've mentioned there have completely different tastes to each other. If you want to mimic a particular beer, there are plenty of recipe's knocking about incorporating different techniques (extract, kits, hops, malt, grains..... I really don't understand it yet), but I'm sure someone will point you in the right direction.

Edit: Sorry Jim, may have sounded a little negative there and not overly welcoming (especially as I'm a complete newbie to this personally). I found this for you, perhaps some of these guys could point you in the right direction or it may lead you on to other ideas:

Have a look at this link http://www.brewuk.co.uk/store/beerkits/ ... igree.html and also some of the other extract kits on the same site.
They are designed to do pretty much what your after without being too difficult to make. They also do a Boddingtons and several others. http://www.brewuk.co.uk/store/beerkits/brewextract.html

Great - thanks for the help.

Yes - reading my initial post it does sound a little confusing. I did mean any receipe that is similar to any of the beers - not that all the beers I noted tasted the same.
