" Boiler Room " ??? F**k! That sounds 'warm'!
J; I've no personal experience of any " Wilko's " kits. But, back in the day, I was shown how anything over the 20 c mark could turbo charge a ferment. I use this method, regular as clockwork, today. Admittedly, I'm a straight down the line Coopers man. Being Australian, these kits are formulated to take the heat
But, yeah. If that stuff's been on the 20? Perfectly acceptable that it will have fermented in the given time scale.
Will it be the best that kit has to offer? Dunno. Most would agree / advise that a steadier ferment, at 18 c would be preferable.
My opinion? Do ye want to grow a full bears, wear a Fare Isle jumper and glasses and drink halves while talking to bore about beer? Or, do ye want a decent pint to enjoy? Cerveza? Suggests ye want a pint!
I'd bang a gallon plastic bottle in the fridge and see how it goes down on a warm evening
