I have been given a can of 25 year old Caxton stout wort
If I get a new yeast do you think it would work ?? Worth a try I suppose

I think that you may be pushing the boundaries somewhat after 25 year's.
Personally I wouldn't risk it, because who knows what the plating is like inside the tin.
