Hop pellets.

Just chucked the supplied hop pellets into my American Amber Ale kit......they've partly dissolved forming a scum on top of the beer in the FV . Never dry hopped before...so is this normal? Do they eventually dissolve or will I have to strain the beer before I keg it in a few days?

It's normal mate and no they will not dissolve I have a hop mesh bag that I place over my siphon tube or you could just strain like you said

Haven't got a fridge! Though I could maybe tie some sort of strainer to the end of my syphon!
