Bargain!

Wilko kits still showing at at £12.75 online; can't see the Milestone kits.

Perhaps Wilko's discontinuing the Milestone ones? Was the tin/packaging damaged in any way, or near its sell by?

I might pop in to Bromley tomorrow. Not that I don't have enough on my list to brew!

MrsAles went to Wilkos Yesterday for Paint. I said `I`m not coming `cos I`ll spend too much`. Oh, Can you get me 8 packs of Spraymalt please!
MrsAles phones back in 1/2 hr, Wilko Bitter £5, Do you want One? Will you get 2 please.
Gets home and I find the Wilko Bitter for £5 is the 2 Can Kit! Bargain!
Still got 4 Kits from the last Wilko Sale and 4 Kits from the Tesco Sale and these now, so I WILL be Busy! :D =D> #-o

Defo gonna pop out this lunchtime. I don't need any kits but at that price I can't really afford not to stock up!

Well that's solved a problem for me. Had a 15 minute window so took the opportunity to dash over to Wilko in Bromley. Lots of kits but all marked up at the 'normal' 25% off price . No £5 or £10 bargains to be seen. I might check again in a few days.

Congrats to everyone who's found a bargain!

this lunchtime a colleague bought a £5 kit about half an hour before I went into Wilkos but the £10 and £5 stickers were gone. Back to normal price!!!

If anyone east London wise wants to try find done of these bargains I can advise that you may safely rule out Stratford, Ilford and Barking. None of them have either the Milestone or the Best Bitter in stock.

Bromley had the milestone but not at that price.

Perhaps they're discontinuing those lines hence the bargains?

Congrats to everyone who's bagged themselves a bargain!

Forgot to mention...East Ham doesn't have a homebrew selection at all (or at least didn't on my last visit)

You can cross Walthamstow off your list too. They have the Milestone and the Best Bitter but all marked up ad the 'ordinary' price.
