Bottle crisis still not resolved! I might just need to bite the bullet and buy some. Is 50p each outrageous?

Bugger paying 50p per bottle!

At least go to B&M and pay £1 per bottle for full one's.

MB,
As high as possible. This is going to be the daftest Brew I`ve ever done, (apart from Ditchs 3 Gall Stout and Gruit Ale).
What do you think of 1 Wherry can, 1 Coopers Real Ale and 1 can Geordie Scottish Export? :D #-o
You`ve seen the list, any Ideas?

You could you could erm write the names on paper stick um in a hat and see what comes out. You could then add some brandy soaked current, raisins dried fruits with some mace cinimmon etc

If your confused brewuk do a deck the halls kit you could seek more ideas with that recipe ?

WA,

My local pub does awesome cask ale and the landlord who is a really nice bloke said they basically don't shift any bottles gear.

Thanks for the invite to Wales but have a stag party in Nottingham this weekend so am sadly unable to take you up on the offer!

Lots of ale though. Shame I'm paying retail!

Drove past my local tescos today --could not stop , but they have taken away an automated bottle and can machine that used to gobble bottles and cans up and somehow sort them ---on the floor were hundreds of carrier bags of bottles of all sorts from what I could see ...may take a drive there tomorrow to pick up some brown bottles ..... will look like a Hobo sifting through bottles lol lol ( mind you if anyone asks me who I am I might call myself ........ err ..ohh I don't know think of a random name ....looking as if I had crawled out of a ............ DITCH yeah that will do

EB,
Must be a useless Stag Party if you are on JBK at this time of night!
The `Bell Inn` is a good pub in Notts! :D
