Probably been asked before but has anyone mixed 2 different types of beer together.
The Wherry comes with 2 cans and I am going to make 2 batches up from the one pack and just thought of mixing it with something else.
Any suggestions?
Cheers John

You could boil it up with some dried extract and specialty grains and more hops.
Sommeliers recommend that you swirl a glass of wine and inhale its bouquet before throwing it in the face of your enemy.

Yesterday I started an all-grain brew then put on my hazmat suit and added a 1.7Kg can from a kit BB 2009. 30 litres @ 1052.
I brew therefore I ... I .... forget

Lots of 2can recipes on here. Use the search or trawl through some of the older pages.

I can't remember seeing anyone saying it improved on Wherry using it in this way.
Take into account that using two kits especially if a single can that it will have more IBUs (bitterness) than the cans designed as two-can ones.
The Coopers website has many toucan (two-can) recipes obviously using their kits though.

What about one can and a kilo of sugar? Would that work? My first ever brew was a Wherry 2 can and it was lovely. I just thought you could make up 2 batches using sugar rather than the other can.AnthonyUK wrote:I can't remember seeing anyone saying it improved on Wherry using it in this way.

Not going to split the cans now will make it my Christmas Brew. I will experiment with cheaper cans.cellone wrote:You'll lose flavour but it is doable.
