Spraymalt

What's the going rate for a kilo of spraymalt?

Was going to stock up while Wilko's still got 20% on, which works out at £7 and a few pennies a kilo, as opposed to the normal £8.80 a kilo.

We don't have a brew shop local, but there are two in Bradford and I'm up there fairly often. All things being equal, I'd like to support the little man, so if £7 is 'about right' or 'dear' by LHBS standards I'll hang on (I have plenty of stuff in for now). But if it's 'cheap', I'll stock up now :)

Cheers

The Malt Miller sells it for £5.00 a kilo. Admittedly there is postage on top.

£5.60 in 1kg bags - can't be doing with all the clumping when splitting bags between brews! Still a good deal cheaper than Wilko, and if I order enough the postage will be absorbed. Thanks for the link!

Lots of DME I'm happy with. Would prefer it in kilo bags than in one big bag, though :)

 God, yes! This is the Big Question I'm yet to find a whole / Retailer to answer me though; How the hell to they get a sack of that shit into 1 Kilo bags, without Breathing?!

Noticed that? Ye only have to Open a Kilo bag and, instantly a tiny bit of it sucks in the moisture of the air around ye! That stuff's just a moisture magnet!

Mouse magnet too. Store it in tin. Winter is coming ..... 8)
