10 out of Toucan?

Post by Wekslap » Thu Oct 16, 2014 1:26 pm

Probably a silly question but here goes.

In two can kits, has anyone tried making 10 gallons out of one 2 can kit ie for instance by adding 1kg of bke or DME for each can?

Or is this not recommended?

Has anyone done this on here? If so how did they turn out?

Thanks

John

You could do it, but it would be underhopped IMO.

We had this a while back and some members contacted various producers. If I recall correctly, most 2 can kits were found to have exactly the same ingredients for each can, if that helps.

You could always add hops to compensate, but by the time you do the cost difference between that and just brewing as designed is probably negligible.
