Woodfordes Nog Kit + Poorly Brewer

Post by spikey » Thu Mar 24, 2016 2:29 pm

Hello chaps. I've got a Nog kit doing nicely on day 7 at the moment. I've also got a really horrible dose of There's A Lot Of It Around, so I was wondering. When am I going to have to get this brew bottled?

I seem to recall that the last Nog kit I did, I bottled it around day 14, by which time I'm hoping I'll feel fit enough again to do this one. What if I'm not? How late could I safely leave it if I have to?

Thank you :)

I've left brews three weeks with no problem, including a Wherry. My guess would be that four weeks would be the limit though.

I badly planned going on holiday and ended up leaving a wilko golden ale in the fermenter for 6 week last summer..
As long as it is well sealed and not disturbed/overheated it will be fine!

Cheers Donald. Now looking like I'll be able to do it inside three weeks :)
