Raspberry beer kit recs?

Post by DPK » Sun Jul 04, 2021 11:32 am

So I am currently addicted to Timmerman’s Framboise and was thinking of brewing my own version.

Took a look at the lambic brewing process and decided that’s not gonna fly, especially with a 1-year-old running about.

Seen a couple of kits from Brewferm and Mangrove Jacks online. Wondering if anyone has any experience with these or similar Framboise kits and whether they are worth bothering with?

Recommendations to go for or avoid would be appreciated, thanks

Haven't had a problem with any of the brew ferm kits, love the raspberry.

Thanks. Is the kit yeast okay?

Standard advice is usually that the easiest way to improve kits is to replace the kit yeast with something better (and likely fresher)

I used the kit yeast, but that was a couple of years ago. Would try a Belgian yeast if I rebrewed now. Moved to all grain since
