Had a look there, looks to be a good system, the controller looks good once you get the hang of it. If it had an adjustable overflow pipe it would be a gf killer. I have seen the v1 and this looks far better.
Wonder would the hop spider sit inside the wort chiller
Great vids, cheers

Yeah it is quite high but it's ok I think I've never had issues with stuck mash so tend not to think about that! At least the plate slides up and down for different sized grain bills!
As you say controller not really an issue but proper testing by them should have picked things up that I did on brew one
Cheers

Looks very flimsy going on the embossed numbers and logo.

It's double walled for added insulation and is actually very solid a lot more so than the old bulldog or the Grainfather. The logo on this one isn't very well defined not sure if others will be the same! But no definately not flimsy all the SS is solid!

So that means you cannot put the IC in the hot wort to sanitise it until the whole brewing process is finished. Thereby adding further time to the brewday.

Yes mate but this hop spider doesn't come with the system and on this brew I used no chill! I did explain this on the brew day video and I may look at getting a plate chiller or counterflow chiller at some point but next few brews no chill suits me! I'll use my old biab bag for hops if i want to use the immersion chiller before that!
Cheers

The Malt Miller informed me that they will be stocking the keg king counterflow chiller later this year.
I have a plate chiller but am considering a counterflow

I'll definately be having a look at that then... Any idea on pricing from Rob?
