😂😂 I sometimes wonder if these people have every brewed beer themselves.
Beer in Norway has a very long history of being notoriously crap.

I think they have no choice but to make their own beer in Scandinavian countries because their duties on alcohol are just crazy. I believe Norway has the highest rate of excise for beer of all of them.

Compared with TSP, beer in Norway is relatively 'cheap'

Here's a nice piece of kit for you McMuffin :D

A tad OTT for fermenting a single batch methinks but aint it pretty :D
That's cute! It's a bit like a puppy where various parts seem to grow wildly out of proportion to their body.

I'd be a bit worried about dumping the entire fermenter out while using the dump valve!

Anyone want to make some bets on pricing for their F40 fermenter? I'm going to say £1300.

It does look like something out of a cartoon proportionally and 2" valves on such a tiny vessel are nuts, granted, same fittings used on their 100 and 150l models but still.

Cost wise, at least1200 GBP, but accessories for transfer and connectivity and the glycol chiller .....

Connectivity, you need this ... or you are nobody....

I am very comfortable to be 'nobody'. I brew because I like beer, not because I like brewing. This BrewTools is not about home brew or even beer. It's an engineered 'lifestyle' taken too far. Undisciplined and extremist. Beer isn't that complicated. It's like putting an F1 engine on a horse-drawn cart. Fine for a laugh, but let's be honest about it, it's OTT to sell it as 'normal'.

He only drives it down the road for a newspaper and pack of fags once a week, on Sunday mornings. Spends the rest of the week polishing it.

It was all I could afford on their website  I did change to slightly bigger o-rings, but perfect fit to be honest. Needs lube or else tends to get stuck.
I got caught out by the BrewTools ethos of "you need to buy extra stuff to make our gear work".

Ordered dip tube from The Malt Miller and totally missed the fact that I had to order O-Rings separately at additional cost. Still not so much of an issue if in then end they need changing for something a bit bigger anyway!!!

Need to have a rummage through my stock to see if I've got anything suitable. Measured the dip tube and reckon that something like 14mm by 2.5 mm might do the trick.

What's that thing on top, an actual airlock?

It's not a BT spunding valve, is it? Starting to look more like OCD than OTT.

I am led to believe its a "hop drop" kit. I think that means you fill it up, and when u open the valve below it drops the hops in for dry hopping. I guess that is to avoid exposure to air if like the most of us we just open the lid and throw in the hops, or, is it there so that you can dry hop while maintaining pressure if you are fermenting under pressure ?.. hmm.

The funny thing bottom left inside a (perspex ?) cup is a spunding valve. I've no idea what that coil at the centre bottom is.

My style, which works very well, for something like a really big American IPA goes like this:

I did wonder if it was a stilling column on top!

With full automation (another optional extra) the whisky could run straight into the glass on the side.

Bigger glasses are available, as an option. 🤣🤣

Are we sure the 'purple neon lighting' isn't actually a UV-C bulb to kill any microbiological threats with short-wavelength ultraviolet light? Because that's exactly what I'd expect at this rate of OCD.

Presumably the black silicone hose (unlike the standard translucent option) 'justifies' the optional sight glass? Cost thereof, that is.
