Fermenting Bin

Post by Craig C » Mon Aug 10, 2015 6:35 pm

Hi,

Can I rack off (1010) as recommended with Beaverdale to a fermenting bin with bubble air lock or does it have to be a demijohn? I haven't got a large enough demijohn for the 30 bottle kit at the moment.

Cheers.

I'm sure any sterile container to which you can fit an airlock would be fine.

You don't ever really need an airlock just slightly loosen the lid on a fermentation bin :D

I apologize for the late response!

I used a 24 hour email address, forgot my password and wasn't seeing the captcha when entering the incorrect password after the allowed intial trys. #-o

I've noticed that not all kits ask for the racking off at 1010 - is this true?
