Getting Fruity?

Post by Uncle Joshua » Tue Apr 21, 2020 10:24 pm

I want to make a turbo cider with Robinsons Strawberry and Kiwi fruit juice added, how much juice should I add to a 23l brew?

I would use 2 x 1 litre bottles, possibly three, as I regularly use 1L for an 8l batch

Uncle Josh,
Is this proper juice or squash/cordial?
If cordial, read the ingredients, any sulphites or sulphates, add it after fermentation. (Otherwise it will kill the yeast).
4Lts should be enough.

UJ,
Sulphites in there. Bung it in AFTER fermentation.

Hello all, i'm trying a fruity turbo cider for the first time. using 4l of apple juice and was planning to top up with 1/2 litre summer fruit cordial after fermentation, the cordial contains sorbates. will it still carbonate a little after bottling.
