A Simple Bitter

Post by stevezx7r » Sun Feb 24, 2008 8:04 pm

Hi all, i'm after a recipe for a simple bitter using minimal ingredients for my first AG which should be taking place very soon - just need a few more bits before I can begin.

I realise it's seen as a crime by some to say I like Tetley's but I would like something that tastes like that.

One of my favorite all time beers is Black Sheep but i'm guessing a lot more work would be involved in making it.

FYI I will be going for a 23 litre brew length.

Ta.

Daab, I was checking out HH's recipe and saw that it calls for Torr. Wheat. I have "Flaked Wheat"--would this be an acceptable substitute? Thanks

Thanks for the link DaaB, have checked it out and will add that to my list of possible first AG recipes.
