Courage Imperial stout

Guys,

Anyone have an idea on the yeast Courage used to use for this beer? When it was moved to Sammy Smiths I'm betting the strain switched to theirs. Thoughts?

They moved to John Smiths not Sam Smiths. They're both in Tadcaster but different breweries. As to the yeast I don't know. I still have a bottle conditioned 1992 Courage bottle at home but I guess the yeast will be well past it by now (at least using my techniques). AFAIK that was the last bottling? They did make a cask conditioned special a few years ago though - it was at the GBBF. I tasted it, it was nice and quite smooth. Never seen it since.
