Post by babalu87 » Wed Oct 01, 2008 4:40 pm

Anyone have a recipe?
Its a favorite of my Uncles and since my Real Ale book is at a friends I'd like to know at least the hops so I can pick them up.

Thanks

The big thing with this beer is the yeast. I'd go for something along the lines of 94% pale malt, 6% crystal, and around 35 IBU's from East Kent Goldings. Water profile is also going to play a role. I'd give the Wyeast 1469 strain a shot. It's from West Yorkshire.

I think they could be using 10% crystal

It's on their 'Private Collection' page. It's only out for three months.
