Pictish Brewers Gold

Post by jamesb » Mon Sep 29, 2008 10:42 pm

Any ideas?

I suspect it's one of their single hop beers, so I'm thinking Brewers Gold all the way, although I haven't worked out the schedule yet. More on the later part of the boil though, it wasn't particularly bitter but the taste and aroma were sublime.

From what I remember of the colour and abv, I'm thinking around 4.2kg Pale and about 250g of Crystal.

Not tried the Pictish version, but if you liked it, the Crouch Vale Brewers Gold recipes on here might be of interest to you. Tried Pictish Alchemy/Alchemist (can't remember which title it had) at GBBF, was superb!
