TEA Time Again

Post by Madbrewer » Thu Oct 09, 2008 2:20 pm

OK I am having another go at one of my favorites again tomorrow - this time amending my current recipe for
preference of how I think I'd prefer my next beer rather than tweaking it to try and emulate the original 'brewery' version more precisely.

Another Attempt at TEA
=====================
OG1.044 - 23litres <- Same OG as last time out

Maris Otter Pale Malt 4500g <- also same as last time
Crystal Malt 250g <- used 375g last time

18 IBU's Golding (90mins) <- Same
18 IBU's Fuggles (90mins) <- Same
20g Golding (steep) <-used 15g last time

Muntons Gold Yeast <- Danstar Nottingham used last time it over attenuated.

Am also considering Caramelising the first litre of mash runnings, and plan to batch sparge again this will be the third AG in a row not Fly sparged.

Any Idea's on:-
Will the 5g extra aroma hops make a jot of difference?
How much more can I get away with before if becomes overly hopped?
