Got mine from the UK Book Depository, arrived in Sunny Queensland here four days after posting ... that would have been about end of March. So far I've done a nice Ruddles County knock off and Camerons Strongarm.

Wheeler's new BYOBRAAH edition
Re: Wheeler's new BYOBRAAH edition
Nice link. I stumped up for shipping from Amazon UK. Looks like I could have saved a bit there.Bribie wrote:Got mine from the UK Book Depository, arrived in Sunny Queensland here four days after posting ... that would have been about end of March. I disagree, I bought the 3rd edition & a week or so later, bought the 2nd edition. For my 2p worth, they're very different books or be it, with a common theme.
The 2nd covers the basic in a little more detail & has classics such a Burton Ale (had three pints last week in one of my locals, so will deffo be making a copy), whilst the 3rd has new brews like Banks's bitter (my local brew) plus more detail on brewing from extract, different brew lengths & some would argue, more simplistic recipe break downs. I love your interpritation of the London Pride & Bathams bitter, as they are very true to the orginals. That said, for the 4th, you need to add a few Goldings cones to dry hop the Bathams

So in short you need both the 2nd & 3rd editions, then you need to compare/contrast with Dave Lines book & to top it off, you need the Almernac from Roger.
Excellent work by the way, so when's the 4th comming out & can you speak to Roger about a new Almernac

Darren.

Re: Wheeler's new BYOBRAAH edition
There's quite a few from Graham's new book I've got in mind for the future.
So many beers to brew
So little time
So many beers to brew

It would be nice to brew everything at once... just so you can try them all... NOW!

But on the plus side as I can make my own beer I can do Graham's recipe
