Oh crap - I'm going to buy a half kilo at the next opportunity - only got 100g in the freezer - don't even like them that much!

definately not bs mate .paul probably gets em from clive at brupaks, i suspect, and he gets em from farams......

and it was will from farams who told me.....

next nz shipment is in end of may /start of june, theyve had a bad year and expected alocation is at best going to match the two tons shipped in last year

and us greedy bastard pro brewers put dibbs on that :D

though im sure clive will get a good amount too, hes a better customer than a few decent sized micros put together :wink:

Well the first brew didn't last long. Lots of good feedback from mates who got a few bottles.

Good brewday today, 25ltrs of Nelson Sauvin in the fermenter, if you haven't tried this one yet - put it on your list to brew, it is delicious.

Just brewed an oatmeal stout with Irish Ale yeast, next up single hop nelson sauvin.
Could i go straight into fermenter with this on old yeast slurry or am i heading for an undrinkable disaster, with any residues from dark malts etc.Irish ale yeast is said to be ok for pale ales also. Any thoughts or is it ramp up the Saf o5 .
