Looks good. :)

But anyway it's the fermentation and cold maturation that makes good kölsch.

Update us how you get on.
I'd like to try a Kolsch some time but I'm put of as heard that yeast can be a bugger to clear.

BTW: I'd say you can skip the Oat husks as wheat is only 2%.

Ok, I tried the oat husks, because I've got some and because I've been getting a lot of stuck mashes lately.

How did this turn out ?
How long did you primary/ secondary/ lager for ?
Did you get any sulfur or esters during fermentation ?

Sorry for all the questions but I did a kolsch brew myself last week. I racked to secondary and had a sneaky taste - it tasted good but with some sulfur/ fruity esters which I hear will clear given time in secondary.

From what I've read the Wyeast is a bugger to clear, but the White Labs clears okay.
I'm just here for the beer.

Kolsch was good, not really my style, but a nice summer drink, cleared fine, I'm not a great fan of wyeast, used white labs

HI, in Primary for two weeks, secondary for four days, then cornie in a fridge for 6 weeks, although its still in there about half full, might give that some hammer this weekend!

Yes very sulphury at the start, it soon disappeared tho.

It's a decent drink turned out well, but these sort of beers are a bit bland for my taste
