Blimey - seems like a lot of fuss!! Starsan is easy, but I used normal house hold bleach for years and never had an infection. Now I got starsan I clean with bleach and sanitise with starsan after a good rinse. Try washin ye hands Dave after you've been fer a piss!! That works for me! :D

Anyhoo Dave! What is this new hop like. I've got a bag in the freezer and I'm expecting the full Jilly Goolden on this one. I want tasting notes that would make Ozz Clarke quiver in his caravan.

This was my first in a long time! I use oxi-clean type stuff then bleach but want to swap to oxi-clean then starsan to help save time.

Looking fantastically pale:

Starting to wonder if the IBUs are a wee but high.

Hi, I have a packet of these hops which I was just going to do a simple pale ale with. How did yours turn out and what hop quantities did you use?

Thanks

Edit, didn't realise you had posted the recipe at the start of the thread! Is there anything you would change?

I'm not sure really. It tasted a little too sharp initially and lacked much aroma so perhaps ease up on the bittering hops in favour of late additions.
