Nice! You will have to let us know how it turns out. Is that a big malster or a little niche one?
I always fancied doing a foraged-ish year of beer (nettle beer, elderflower pale ale, elderberry imperial stout, green hop beer, gruit) but a lot of the ingredients have pretty small windows to pick and use.

Hoosier Daddy

I certainly will.
They're fairly small, 1,400 acres with most going to other crops.
I'm just here for the beer.

I ended up with 1.044 in 3.2 gallons. About 7 gravity points per pound instead of the 8 gravity points per pound I usually get.f00b4r wrote: ↑Fri Dec 02, 2022 3:54 pmNice! You will have to let us know how it turns out. Is that a big malster or a little niche one?

I saw that on the other thread, it could be either of the reasons you posted i guess. Hopefully it still turns out well.Rookie wrote:I ended up with 1.044 in 3.2 gallons. Looks very nice, particularly in a Sam Smith's glass!
