The TT Landlord for me is a real winner, Styrian Golding hops give a pronounced hop throughout and in the finish, just using Nottingham yeast too.
Theakston Old Peculiar is lovely too. Also tried the Cocker Hoop, Deuchars IPA, Pendle Witch, all good.
I would avoid the Hooky Dark Mild, too thin and weak in my opinion but that maybe
Cheers,
Wayne.

Re: Whats your favourite BYOBRA recipe?
Got a keg of the Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby on the go and it's the best homebrewed ale I've ever made by far

Re: Whats your favourite BYOBRA recipe?
I bought this book and started this thread with the intension of brewing some of the recipes.
There's so many beers I want to brew I cant seem to get around to any of these, but I will, I promise

Top dog stout is a cracker too. its been in the barrel for a couple of months now and I draw a pint every once in a while when i fancy a change from my "regular" beers. Cracking book from Graham, It's taught and encouraged me no end.

So far I've made the Courage Directors (had to tone down the target as the AA was too high in mine), Timothy Taylor Landlord, Ruddles County (from an earlier version), Black Sheep Ale, Old Speckled Hen and London Pride and have enjoyed them all. I've also got my eye on the Wadworth JCB and 6X, Pendle Witches Brew and Jennings Cumberland Ale/Cocker Hoop.
