Ushers of Trowbridge

Being originally from Wiltshire, probably the first pint of bitter I tried was Ushers Best. Does anyone have (or know of a book which contains) recipes for clones of Ushers Best, Founders etc? The only Ushers recipes I've found on ther internet seem to be from a brewery of the same name in Scotland (I don't think the two were connected).

The brewery closed years ago and all the kit sold to a North Korean brewery. Best was still produced under contract (I think at Wychwood) a few years ago but I only ever saw it in cans on First Great Western trains. I seem to remember that Founders was rather like Courage Directors which is hardly surprising gived the latter's ownership or the former at one time. Funnily enough, about 20 years ago,I knew one of the brewers and his wife who worked in one of the labs at the brewery. If only I was brewing back then!
