Had this at a beer festival recently, and, wow! any recipes floating around out there?

I too had the pleasure of tasting the Bulldog at a recent local real ale festival. It's a very nice brew indeed. The notes I have on it give an OG of 1.041, Maris-Otter pale malt with a bit of crystal, Northdown and WGV on the hops. How's this for a start:

19L/5Gal

3.4 kg (7.5 lb) MO pale malt
125 g (.25 lb) medium crystal malt

21 g (.75 oz) Northdown @ 90 minutes
29 g WGV (1 oz) @ 15 minutes

Your favorite bitter yeast

Rhode Island? I think we were at the same festival. I'm in Providence. How about you?

Has to be NERAX in Somerville, MA always an excellent event. Yes I am just one town over from Providence.

Cheers!

Revised Bulldog Recipe

Jim had some additional info on the beer so I have modified my original recipe outline. The beer also uses Goldings and Bramling Cross and the crystal % is about 6%.

10 Gallons US/ 38 Litres

6.4 kg (14 lb) MO pale malt
350 g (.75 lb) Crystal malt 150EBC/ 55L

90 minute hops:
43 g (1.5 oz) Northdown
15 g (.5 oz) Kent Goldings

15 minute hops:
7 g (.25 oz) Kent Goldings
14 g (.5 oz) Bramling Cross
14 g (.5 oz) WGV
