i thought i would share what i did.
6.15kg marris otter (88.2%)
340g crystal (4.9%)
340g roast barley (4.9)
140g torrified wheat (2%)
(no water treatment apart from campdon for chlorine removal)
Mash at 67 for 2hrs in 16 l water
sparge to collect 28l (82oC)
boil 60mins
Challenger (8.6%) 35g 60mins
challenger 10g 30 mins
challenger 10g 15mins
challenger 10g flame out (chilled in 7mins)
(total ibu = 41.6)
6g irish moss 15mins
yeast- thames 1275
25l at 1062
fg - 1015
brewed 18/11 kegged 25/11 tasted last night and its great. nice and hoppy.
