Brewing 3 Beers

Got a big party coming up. I'll be brewing a Landlord clone, and a Pendle Witches Brew clone. I already posted my Double Barrel recipe.

Landlordish

8lbs 2-row
1oz. fuggles @ 60
1oz. Styrians @ 60
1oz. East Kent Goldings @ 10
1oz. Styrians steeped while wort is being chilled
Water: Mission Viejo, CA tap water. Treated with .3cc's of lactic acid.
Yeast: Safale-05

Malt should get me to the 1.037 range. Boiling the first runnings will bump it up to 1.044 - 1.045 range.

Gothic Whore aka Pendle Witches Brew

8.50 lbs. 2 row
.60 Wheat
.60 British Crystal(Carastan)
.93 Table Sugar 15 oz.
60.00 gm Fuggles [4.50%] (60 min) Hops 26.6 IBU
20.00 gm Fuggles [4.50%] (10 min) Hops 3.6 IBU
20.00 gm Fuggles [4.50%] (0 min)
Water: Same as above.
Yeast: Safale-05

I'll start brewing this stuff next Saturday. I've got a friend from Hastings coming tomorrow. Ales will be flowing.

Should be great, a few pints of landlord is hard to beat.

To me what's unusual about Landlord is it reminds a little of a West Coast Pale Ale without the alcohol strength. You can drink 6-7 pints of it and not get brain damage.

I'm going to have to have a go at TTL soon. It's one of my favourites at the moment.

I've got just the one bottle of my Landlord clone left. Not too bad a brew but I won't be making the mistake of priming with brown sugar again. [-X
