I was in the same boat when I did my first AG and I ended up doing Hogs Back T.E.A. I'd never head of it at the time, and it came highly recommended as a first brew,
as it's a straightforward recipe, with easily obtained ingredients. I must say it came out amazing and i'll do it again sometime, give it a go, you won't be disappointed

T E A Hogs Back brewery

25 litre batch OG 1044 ABV 4.2%

PALE MALT 4303 gms
CRYSTAL MALT 349 gms

HOPS boil time 90 minutes

FUGGLES 35 gms
GOLDINGS 33 gms

Add 10 gms Goldings last 15 minutes.

Yeast of your choice

This would be good any time, not just for your first A G.
I'm just here for the beer.

With this recipe does it mean another 10gms of goldings at the end or take from the 33 gms Also after the wort boil do i leave to cool for 20 mins before i start with the immersion cooling

Hi, yes add an EXTRA 10g, in addition to the 33g.

No, chill straight away, then leave to settle for 10-15 mins before run off (that's what I do anyway)

Good luck with the brew, It was a winner for me, and one i'll be doing again
