I had the Oakleaf Pompey Royal at the weekend at a beer festival in Chester. Think I ended up having about 4 pints of it in the end, once I tasted it, that was it. Lovely stuff.

OG: 1044
ABV: 4.5%
IBU: 50
Colour: clear amber
Grainbill: 67.5% Pale, 7.5% Crystal Malt, 12.5% Torrified Wheat, 12.5% Sugar
Bittering Hops: High-alpha extract, Styrian Goldings
Dry hops: Styrian Goldings
Yeast: proprietary English ale strain, later acquired by Hales in Seattle, WA, also Wyeast 1332

What one, originally brewed by Brickwoods which became a Whitebread brewery, was them brewed by Gales and then by oakleaf. The David Line book had the Brickwood/Whitebread one I believe. Will try to find it.
