I am going to use up some of my supplies and Boddies seems a suitable recipe for a thirst quencher session beer, (GW recipe).
However it states the use of Whitbread Golding Hops at start of boil, how different are the Whitbread to my bog standard Goldings. I do have Styrian, Cascade,Fuggles if more suitable, I just haven't seen Whitbread mentioned before.
Yeast wise I was going to finish off my WL0023 , does this sound ok, alternatively I could use Nottingham.
thanks

Re: Boddingtons hops
WGV are higher alpha and have a slightly different flavour, but boddies doesn't really have any noticable hop flavour or aroma (i imagine they're only used for bittering), so i think you could use EKG in its place and adjust quantities to allow for difference in alpha acid %
