PLZ help me with a porter recipe!!

hallo guys, this is my Robust Porter recipe:

Malts (grams):
2.800 Light Dry Malt Extract
11% 0.400 Crystal 150L
5% 0.200 Chocolate Malt (UK)
5% 0.200 Black Malt (Thomas Fawcett
3% 0.100 Molasses

Hops:
boil 60 mins 23 Target (11%)
boil 15 mins 17 Fuggles
boil 5 mins 17 Goldings, East Kent


og 1054
Bitterness
33.3 IBU / 9 HBU
Æ’: Tinseth
BU:GU
0.6

23 litres
yeast London Ale II

What's your opinion? Suggestions?

Okay, I'll chuck my 10 pen'th in! As it stands, I see no issues with your recipe. I've not used molasses myslf, but I'm sure it'll be fine. I'd certainly agree with your yeast choice. For comparison I've done two porters myself, the second recipe being here;

This is in the FV at the moment, so I can't give you much on it. The first porter I did is here;

To my mind this was highly successful. The second go has a few tweaks to get the flavour profile closer to what I want (we'll see if it works!) and, of course, the use of TV3.

In the final analysis I'd say, give it a go as is, and see how it turns out. Then you can make such changes as you want (if any) to get the final result you're after. And also, let us know how you get on.

Lots of cheap beer; suitably encouraged? Seriously, it's great fun this brewing lark, and it's also very difficult to brew 'bad' beer. Get stuck in, experiment, watch your techniques etc etc... But mainly, have fun!
