Didn't really know where to put this forum wise. Has anyone out there used pomegranate molasses as a priming sugar?
I am thinking about using in a 50:50 pale lager using Kolsch yeast, Challenger bitter and experimental hop cf114. Any thoughts?

Re: Pomegranate molasses / Priming
I tend to use this when making salad dressing (olive oil, pomegranate molasses, white wine vinegar, a pinch of salt and pepper and a tiny sprinkle of chili flakes). It is unbelievably sour. It's also very, very dark because of it's concentration. I feel fairly certain it would add something to the final flavour of the beer. You'd probably get a reddish tinge too. I would simply experiment with one bottle first to see how much you need and above all as to whether you are happy with the results.
