Really pleased with how this recipe turned out so I thought I'd post it.
Maybe not a traditional tasting dark mild, but it has loads of malty raison caramel flavour and drinks much bigger than its ABV.
Pale malt 79.4%
Pale chocolate 6%
Crystal 60 6%
Crystal 150 3%
Extra dark crystal 340 2%
Special B 2%
Roasted wheat malt 1.6%
Fuggles IBU 3 31g 90mins
Yeast Safale so-4
19lts OG 1040 at 81% mash eff FG 1011 ABV 3.8% IBUs 13
Mash temp 69 Mash out 75
Boil 90mins
Carb to 1.6 Good after a week and a half.
Don't think the roasted wheat malt added to much so you could prob leave that out.
I only used it because I had it.

Sounds delicious, thanks for sharing. I'm curious how dark the colour came out? It takes a lot of self-control to only do one hop addition, but I'm re-learning lately that's a classic way to emphasize the malt complexity. Also, I'm really impressed you got such high mash efficiency at that temperature, especially considering all the darker malt additions. Nice work!

Thanks Seymour, the colour is reddish brown, you can see through the other side of the glass.
On average strength beers I usually get an MA of 75% to 78%.
On stronger beers it plummets to below 70%.
