Post by Ghaze » Fri May 20, 2022 8:30 am

Good Morning brewers,

Quick review of a recipe I've wrote, this is going to be my first brew with the GF G30.

23 L BATCH

2.45 kg Extra Pale Maris Otter (40%)
1.8 kg Pilsner (30%)
1.2 kg Wheat (20%)
600 g Flaked Oats (10%)

10 g Citra 60*C Whirlpool for 20 min
10 g Mosaic 60*C Whirlpool for 20 min
90 g Citra Dry Hop 4 days before bottling
90 g Citra Dry Hop 4 days before bottling

Wyeast Labs 1318 London Ale III

Mash at 65*C for 60 min
Mash Out 75 for 10 min

Any comments on this ? Much appreciated :D :D :D

Why would you Dry Hop two lots of 90gr Citra?
Why not put in 180gr Citra, or did you mean 90gr Mosaic? #-o :D :D :D

Looks good, go for it!

Obviously a 180g dry hop is sizeable, so you will need to figure out how to separate hops from beer without letting oxygen in (really important!).
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast, Seaweed, Blood, Sweat, The swim bladder of a sturgeon, My enemies tears, Scenes of mild peril, An otter's handbag and Riboflavin.
