Beer and Nutrition

Post by Reg » Wed Apr 06, 2005 11:38 am

I was thinking of putting together a shot article for the main website of the nutritional benefits of beer... :D

Rather than make it one of the more ususal diatribes on "essential vitamins and minerals and 'Ohh! Look! There's alcohol too'" that seem to be out there, I thought I'd put in some useful information like Calories etc.

I already use http://brewery.org/brewery/library/AlClbinger.html and http://www.nutritiondata.com/.

Is anybody aware of any other sites with useful information in this area?

(Jim. I think you have a rule of thumb formula for calculating beer calories...)

Cheers!

Reg

Only just seen this post!

Sounds like a good idea, Reg. I reckon beer is good for you, and I don't care what my wife says! :D

I measure beer calories in 'waist-inches'.
