Initially all I got was the controls screen. But it took a minute or 2 for the pic to start coming through. Must be because of being on dial up. Also it wanted "Active X" installed, whatever that is.

Shame you can't see it DaaB. Although I do find the topless dancing girls around the fermentor a distraction.

Is that sat in the bath?
Do you always open ferment like that (I mean even if you are not broadcasting on the YeastCam)? Our cousins over the pond would throw a fit at that!
I have to admit, it does look very healthy. B)

Yup, it's in the bath. I have a "family bathroom" which I never use and so it's handy as a closed room fermenting area. I always leave the lid off once a yeast head has formed.

Got the "package" from the Village Bells DAAB...thanks. Curiosity had got the better of them, and they had opened it.
Had a couple of pints of fortyniner, and raised a glass to you. :beer
Cheers!

Just measured SG and it's 1029 - that's just over a days fermentation. OG was 1043 so we have 14 degrees drop.
Anyone else take daily readings ? What daily drops are you seeing ?

BB - I took 6 images over a period of time from the webcam and used a bit of software to create an animation from them. Piece of cake.
DaaB - I'm not in the same league as our very own Mr Yeast

andy, what software did you use?
Nice job....it's going to be a corker of a beer, the yeasties have spoken! B)
Edit: I just can't stop watching that "ferment in progress", it's hypnotising... :stun
