Has anyone ever done a Toucan brew using a Bitter kit and a Lager kit?
And if so what hop additions etc was used and was the resulting beer any good?

I did a few toucan brews when I started with kits (two Munton's Mexican cerveza kits to which I steep grains to make a porter - I remember it being very chocolately and quite bitter but I was happy with the results) and two Munton's mild kits together to make an Old Ale which I also enjoyed.

I say bite the bullet and do it - You might have a strong bitter or ESB. No idea if it will be too bitter but it would mellow over time. Maybe add some aroma hops at the end.

Cheers
