pandemic loganberry wine !!!!!!!!!

At the start of the first lockdown a friend had a freezer failure and asked if I wanted 40 lbs of logangerries that were defrosting....yes please so i made 5 gallons of wine and it cleared to a mirror finish when bottled....opened one today and it gave a slight fizz and and tasted beautiful, thats one year on from start of lockdoewn....covid, eat year heart out ive got loganberry prosecco...22 bottles ..........yipppeeeee !!!!!!

Sounds delicious. With 8lbs to the gallon it must be really rich.
I'm cheap. Just give me beer.

Sounds very nice.
I have this year planted a lot of tayberry and loganberry plants. I think these should make up similar to grape.

What recipe/method do you use?

sorry for the delay ,,, just found it,,,,6lb loaganberries 3lb sugar , citric acid, 2 campden tabs, yeast and nutrient and 1/2 teaspoon tannin....
berries into water fro 2 days with the sugar....then break them up with my plaster mixing paddle on my dril (have sharpened the edges),,, initial ferment for 5 days...then strain and ferment out till finished....easy peasy .....hic hic

Thanks. I have planted a lot of tayberry dry roots which have taken well. Looking foward to trying this.
