just a thought

Post by timbo41 » Thu Feb 06, 2014 5:26 pm

I often read up on various bits of kit and had a sudden thought, particularly relevant perhaps to biab. Does anyone make an insert, probably in perforated ss,,that could be placed into boiler at start. Not a false bottom as such, but more of a conical shape similar to a large catering. colander.
I reckon if its a tight fit, loose hops. after the boil could be really well whirlpooled, and if an ss braid was around the circumference of the boiler should get nice clear run out
