Re: How to make a pump clip
I make mine from off cuts of wood, burn the wording into it and then a bit of polish...
Thus...

any good?

Gorgeous, has a very natural look to it.
Tells me that the beer is crafted and will be good for me.

Lovely signs gents, that wood one is a touch special isnt it? Very nice indeed.
Re: How to make a pump clip
Just came across this thread and it's really useful.
I wish I had found it when I first wanted to make a pumpclip.

The photo is of a pumpclip from a while ago but I'm working on a new idea just now. It started off as an entry into a local competition where there was a competition between two local brewers but they wanted square and I hadn't read the rules properly - ah well.
The shape is based on the windows of the Scottish parliament which is in Edinburgh and the landscape is the silhouette of the parliament and the hill behind it (Arthur's Seat).
Not 100% sure of the colours yet but quite liking the funky shape.

I've made a couple over the years. just printed onto photo paper, backed onto a bit of card then stuck to a blank clip.

Thats exactly what I have, with a set of fluorescent chalk board pensgregorach wrote:Well, there's these, but you'd probably be cheaper buying a branded pump clip off eBay and then putting a new front on it.

Re: How to make a pump clip
I just print onto card and then trim and laminate. Creates a good, shiny, long lasting, waterproof clip.

If I had all the money I'd spent on brewing... I'd spend it on brewing!
Re: How to make a pump clip
Only found out the kids were on holiday from school last night so messing about this morning and found a spare clip that fixes the plynth to the kitchen unit legs and though I could use that.

I have a few friends coming around Saturday night for a curry and to drink a pin of beer I was given from The olde potting shed brewery in Gateshead so thought I would make a pump clip (could do with the backing plate cut a bit neater)

Printed onto sticky backed paper for some reason it would not print the "S"
