Good Quality Hydrometer

Well, it took just over 3 years...but I dropped my hydrometer last night so I need to look for a replacement and I can't for the life of me remember where I bought the one I dropped from

I want something a bit better than the Stevenson Reeves beer and wine types ....... every one of those I've ever had seems to give a different reading and I find the scale very small along with a tendency for the paper scale to move about.
The one I broke only went up to 1050, but it was perfect for what I require. I have a refractometer for anything over 1050, but I like to check my final gravity the old way

Suggestions anyone?? IIRC the one I broke was around the £15 mark. I don't want to be paying daft money for limited range lab grade stuff.

I got the accurate one from Malt Miller for about that amount. It has a similar scale to what you mention, I have found it good and readable but it is Stevenson Reeves so may not be what you want.

Edit - out of stock at the mo, but that looks just the ticket. I'll drop him each line for a delivery estimate....room in the freezer for a few packs of hops too
