50 litre steel keg - where to buy?
Hi all,
Does anyone know where I can purchase a 50 litre keg (not a plastic polykeg) from? I can see on many aussie/american sites that they seem to be easily purchased from eBay etc but over here in the UK you can't get them. Corny's are just a bit too small for my liking as you can't fit a full brew into one and would prefer to brew 2 batches and keg the lot (would save cleaning and sterilising as much!)
There is a German website www.candirect.co.uk but it costs a fortune in postage
Any advise would be gladly received

You could try here
http://www.crusaderkegsandcasks.com/products.htm
If buying just one it still seems to cost a fortune in postage.

They look the part but no prices
Also not sure if they'd sell to general public as they look like they're just for trade. Will have to call them to enquire
Thanks for the help

Cool - is that including the spear? That price is equivalent to getting from Germany but the German site's are used

Yes, that includes the spear and you can select the fitting you want. They will leave it out as well so you can remove the safety should you choose to.

Here you go.
http://shop.crusaderkegsandcasks.com
Oh you can have bands painted on them and brewery name put on them as well included in the price if you want. I have 6 of their 20 litre slimline kegs, my mate down the road had just bought all the casks for his new brewery from them as well.

That's awesome! Looks like they'll cost roughly the price of a corny but much bigger and better.
Thanks for all the help, much appreciated

As the postage is high it works out cheaper if you multi buy.
Buy one get the second with free postage
