Stir bar

Post by Tippler » Wed Mar 05, 2014 6:27 pm

I was just about to get a starter on the go when I discovered the stir bar for my stir plate had disappeared. This time I shall have to do without and hope it works, but I shall need a new stir bar for the next brew. Can anyone recommend a reliable seller? I have bought several before which were hopeless, and it's impossible to tell just from a photo.

Thanks for the offer Alix101. I actually found my stir bar today when I pulled my brewfridge out from the wall. I had looked underneath with a torch, but the little sod had magnetically stuck itself to the gubbins at the back! But thanks all the same. As an aside, the starter I made up is going far better without the stir plate than any I have done before!
