Bagged a brew brew fridge.

Post by LeeH » Mon May 05, 2014 3:21 pm

As I cannot seem to shake this brewing bug I bought this commercial fridge from flea bay for 45 notes. It has a fan helps with the cooling but I'm going to rewire it so it comes on when heating too.

I had some checker plate shelves with holes front and rear made up as the original ones would support 40 pints surprisingly....

I can now use my small one for 6 or more weeks of lagering and still have enough room for 2 brews!

Loving the extra capacity but I had to totally rehash the shed to fit the bad boy in.

Not at all its 6mm thick.

I guess a conical is for fermenting? Is the idea that all the sediment falls to the bottom on the conical and you then can use the outlet on the side to draw off the good stuff?

Might be a bit over the top for kits? I won't have the time on my hands for AG for a few years yet unfortunately.
