Swing top bottles

Post by CestrIan » Tue Jun 17, 2014 11:17 pm

Does anyone know where I can buy beer that comes in brown swing top bottles. A couple of years ago I used to buy Bernard dark pilsner from Tesco which was a nice pint and the bottles make it easy on bottling day. They have stopped selling it now though for some reason. Not sure why because it was very popular.

Shame you don't live near a channel port because you can buy 66cl bottles of Fischer here in brown swingtops for the equivalent of a quid. The contents are crap but if you serve it cold enough you can pass it of to lager drinkers with no taste buds

I always bring loads of Fischer bottles back whenever I go to France. Brilliant for my Hefes.

The Bernard was a cracking pint. Miss it.
