Does the Andrew James sealer re-seal the foil bags hops come in?

The solution to that type of bag is to get a strip of the bag material that does vacuum you only need a strip about an inch wide of it
stick that in the offending non vacuum-able bag top to bottom then fill with what ever and the vacuum will work

Ah so those aren't 100% either then?
On my dodgy bags I've use a plastic drinking straw with some success. I've been buying the "proper" ones to keep the Mrs sweet though while I use up the others.....

I've never tried but as far as I know, it won't work with them :(
