Hi all
I have just bought a tap from angel brewing. did not order the 21mm Qmax as I have one.
Oh no I dont, I have a 22.5mm which I used for fitting 1/2 inch taps to my old gear.
Can I just use it?
Should i get the 21mm?
Or try out the 22.5 on something else to check for fit?
Any help appreciated

22.5 sounds a bit slack. I agree with you, try on a piece of scrap first.
Best wishes

If the thread is 1/2" bsp a 21mm hole is a good fit.

I find a 20.4 Qmax gives an even better fit.barneey wrote:If the thread is 1/2" bsp a 21mm hole is a good fit.
